Calderdale Young Farmers has a stand at the Todmorden Agricultural Show every year, at the 2010 show we were educating the people of Calderdale on the journey our food makes from field to plate, with various examples of local produce and pictures of how they were grown. We also had the "guess the name of the chicken" and "guess the number of balloons in the tractor". We apologise for the absence of the famous dunking stool at the 2010 show but hope for its return at next year’s show which is on the
18th June 2011.
Todmorden Agricultural Society holds an Annual Stock judging Competition for Young Farmers, to take part you need to be a registered member of a Young Farmers Club with a valid membership card. Prize money is available!
Plans for the 2011 Young Farmers stand at Tod Show are in full swing, if you have any suggestions / ideas for the stand or what we could demonstrate or entertain you with in the Events Ring then please let us know!
